this conversation is a reminder of why this media is so valuable to me.

From the Sydney Morning Herald article of Sat 8/29 that Clark posted a few days ago, Miyazawa has been saying the same things at home in Japan.

I don't know. I don't have enough background in international capital markets, nor have I followed the activities of the various players as you have. I have read a lot of history, though, and my gut tells me this is a big, historic event. But it's real early to characterize this, lots could happen, and this could be another is the long series of crises that's inherent in any economic and political system.
