When will the stupidity end? Here's something from
my local newspaper regarding motorist who pass a
stopped school bus, which is illegal.
Here's an excerpt from the article:

A typical school bus is a hulking 35 feet long,
9 feet wide and plastered with flashing lights.
It's pretty hard to miss.
But that's the most common excuse motorists give for
passing a stopped school bus, say bus drivers.

How can you miss a school bus unless of course you're
sleeping.

And here's a quote from someone in the article which
takes the cake:

"It's more of a problem at the beginning of the
school year, because drivers aren't use to school
buses being on the road".

NOT USED TO SCHOOL BUSES BEING ON THE ROAD???????
What kind of a statement is that?

I'm sorry officer, I forgot what that big yellow thing
filled with children was because I haven't seen one
since June, 2 months ago.

What we should be saying is that if you have a driver's
licence, there is NO EXCUSE for passing a stopped
school bus.

We're breeding a nation of idiots with this kind
of attitude.

Jeez......
