AMTD, ASPT these two good for more upside. If we can keep up a normal momentum until mid-September when earnings kick in things will be better from then through October. We always have earnings surprises every quarter no matter what the situation is. I'm starting to research some of the plays in October and have found that earnings are still good in many companies and over many sectors. Since even the good companies were brought down with the bad this month, I expect the rebound to be quite good in the companies with strong earnings going forward. On the other side of the coin, so many of the 'downgraded' stocks are so beaten down at their 52 week low, that we will have strength in them as well. This dichotomy will make for a profitable earnings season.

AMTD broke through resistance today at 18 7/8. Looking for continuation of the trend. 50 day and 200 Moving Average are bullish. Relative Strength was already bullish on Friday. Still looking good.

ASPT.. another really good one that did not gap up in the morning.
noticed relative strength turning bullish on Friday. This one was downgraded and down over 30% this month. No where to to go but up. estimated earnings this quarter $0.26 to $0.29 cents next quarter.. and 6 strong buys and 5 buys.
