I don't know, folks, but it sure looks like we're due for some news.
In August there was 1 press release: Siemens (August 3). I'm not counting the press releases for the 10Q, the 8-K/A, or the S-3/A. In August we never made it past $4.
In July there were 4 press releases - earnings (July 22), North Carolina (July 21) , presence in European banking (July 17), and presence in South African banking (July 2). As you may recall, July was our best month yet (we hit $4 13/16).
In June there was 1 press release (June 30) about Mark Shary & Scott Jones being added to the BOD. In June we never made it past $4.
In May there were 2: May 13 Merger with HUBLink and May 12 Adesso selects HDIE as primary partner.... In May we made it up to $4 5/16.
In April, when earnings came out the 17th-18th, we made it up to $4 9/32. I can't find any other news that came out in April.
It has been pretty quiet since August 3. I have the feeling that September & October are going to be busy months for Healthdyne. I also think Andrew H is right about the software sector (as with other sectors) not being able to command the high p/e's in this market, though isolated cases still and always will exist. How that will effect us only remains to be seen by how much HDIE surprises to the upside, and whether it does so consistently.
There are ALOT of IFs and WHENs here, I agree. But with Healthdyne, I think it's more a question of WHEN and not IF.
No one, but NO ONE, really knows when news is coming out. Except those signing on the 'dotted lines'. Even if HBOC or HDIE folks tell you that something is in the works, they don't know when it will hit the street either. So, if you (in general) believe something is in the works, and you think the reward is worth waiting for, hold on. If not, all aboard for "Watch List City". |
