Thanks DAVE! BTW i wish i had already your discipline to trade a system. I learned a lot during the last year but like you said i found out that i'm the system and that my emotions and impulses are formidable enemies that have cost me a lot of $$ this year. One thing for sure is that i learned the importance of the market. I was wondering why i was having difficulties making the profits i always read about until i looked at the chart of the Russ2000(i was trading exclusively small caps all year). Now i have made it part of my routine to look at the index charts to see how things are going in general and then look at my stocks. My intention is now to incorporate the general outlook with the individual stocks e.g.tighten stops when market is behaving badly. That's the plan for the future but right now it's still struggeling to get back some of the money i lost. Hope you did well(almost certain you did!). Stefan BTW do you ever play on the short side?
