As for Diablo2 support, remember, it's for special effects only. functionally, Diablo2 continues to be a 2D animated game. AJ, this is precisely the kind of thing that buying decisions are made of. Quake was such an immensly popular game that whatever ran it best got a load of sales (voodoo1). Gamers pride themselves on the extra 2 fps or being able to say their system is cooler than somebody elses. Trust me, the Diablo II fanatics will be peeved that their video card isn't displaying optimal performance and will snatch up a 3dfx card as if somebody did a Jedi mind trick on 'em. I'm so looking forward to this game, that not only will I pay Blizzard for an advance copy upon release, but I'll probably take off a day from work just to get a head start on the game the moment it arrives My wife is planning a whole week in seclusion. You'd think the game was heroin. Pat
