Paul, the "perception" in much of the investment community is that Intel finally has serious competition which will keep it from growing. Once the perception is proved wrong, then the stock will make all-time highs.

My casual observation while visiting Circuit City last night, was that Intel has very serious competition. A surprisingly large percentage of the systems on sale had Cyrix or AMD CPUs.

It is not difficult to understand how the investment community arrived at their "perception."
