<With all due respect, Cheryl, NATCA is a public employee union, and as such, they ALWAYS perceive overall conditions to be catastrophic.>

Whether they do or not ... I think they're right.

I was at a cocktail party a few weeks ago, met someone who handles/heads financial PR for a publicly traded company. CEO of that company is good friends with KLM CEO.

What I was told was that KLM CEO told her CEO to cancel plans for his great millennium vacation abroad. Said KLM will not be flying December 28, 1999 thru January 10, 2000. Her CEO cancelled his trip.

KLM has been in the forefront saying since last year that possibly they might not fly into certain areas. According to her, it's definite. Just hasn't been made public. I sincerely doubt they're the only airline that won't be flying then.

I've been following airlines for over a year. I'm staying home ... wherever that is. I know location ... just don't know exact house I'll be living in. My home is now "officially" on the market.

Hope all is well with you.

Cheryl
