Based on Barron's regularly published data, there has been an unusually large short position in SMU shares over time. Surely some are short against their own convertible positions, so they are covered already. I'm interested in what the outstanding balance of short interest (less the convertibles) is to get a feel for what needs to be covered. I can do the math, but wanted to know if someone had already done it.
