BONZ: If what you're saying is true for all sites, then there would NEVER be a site willing to be a Beta for a Y2K product. So, how did all these Y2K products get released to general availability status? I worked for a software development company that produced Y2K solutions. We made arrangements with our clients to perform Beta tests. It happens all the time. The client gets the solution to his problem early, and the developer gets to test his product outside the development laboratory in the "real world". I certainly wouldn't commit my ENTIRE Y2K problem to an untested product, but I'd be willing to test an application or two with it. I'd get a break on the cost of the final product in exchange for the effort involved in administering the Beta test and working with the developers on any bugs that are encountered. I would also get to input my suggestions on how to better the product, and I'd get preferential treatment during the Beta and from then on. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. It's all in perspective, I guess. BTW, you say you can't get your questions answered. I've never had a problem getting questions answered at Bigisoft. PM me your questions and I'll work on them from the "unbiased observer" perspective. Regards, TED
