AFTER THE BELL: Watkins-Johnson Co. (WJ) 19 7/8 -1/4: producer of dielectric chemical-vapor-deposition systems and wireless-communications products to reduce its work force by 20% and take a write-off due to weak orders for semiconductor equipment sector; expect to record a loss in Q3 of between $50 to $55 mln due to charges; according to First Call, WJ was projected to lose $0.70 a share, same as in the year-ago period; see press release.....
