Dave, re McGwire rookie cards going rate, the only evidence I've seen was on a home shopping network program last week (normally hate those, nothing else on that night ;-)). Anyway, they were bundling what looked like five or so different ones...Topps, Donruss, Mothers' Cookies, etc. for maybe $299 - $399. Of course, then, he had only 58 or so homers. If he breaks it, barring injury of course, they should go for much more, especially over time.
The '86 Topps set, I think it is, has both a McGwire A's rookie card AND a McGwire Olympic team card. Hope you have those.
