To average down from $19.5 had to take up lots of money! Why didn't you realize your loss, make it up somewhere else while CS found its' bottom, then reentered!?

I thought I was getting a bargain at $12 and $13, but as we are so painfully aware Mr. Market decided to chop an additional 50% off from those low levels! My biggest percentage loser and dollar loser is CS for the year, but I'm 3 quarters of the way towards completing my NETVA arbitrage position with a current average of $5.5. Once the deal is done and we have our inevitable pop this year those NETVA shares will become CS shares that I can use to pair half the position and offset my earlier CS losses.

Of course I'm screwed if the deal sours or LU and CPQ don't step up to the plate this year, but that's what makes a market!:-)
