Gasonics just announced a 17% layoff to bring costs down in line with market conditions. I think it's their first layoff in this downturn, since I don't see any mention of one in their news headlines over the last year.

Then again, I thought Mattson had a layoff some months back, but I couldn't find the news story for it.
