EPA regulations are forcing the owners of millions underground storage tanks to accurately measure and monitor these tanks in order to reduce the possibility of any leakage

This is true, however......owners of these storage tanks must be in compliance by the end of the year (nationally). Many firms who are hired to replace the existing UST's (Underground Storage Tanks) are extremely busy now and charging a premium....I fear that this will be short lived and peter out the first of the year.

Florida, where the company is located does have some of the most stringent regulations in the nation....national guidelines as well as individual state regulations have to be met....which ever holds the higher level of compliance.

However, this technology does sound interesting in that it is reported to reduce insurance premiums. ALL underground tanks will eventually leak, and with a better detection device, this could be a winner....but again, I would expect to see a slow down come the first of the year.....Also, when I lived in Florida, they were ahead of the rest of the country so they might already have to be in full compliance...not sure.
