ahhaha, the other point is,if you do not understand the technology, and how it is being deployed, how can I expect the average person to understand it. It is not to increase bandwidth so much as to provision for services,to decrease electronics, and to allow anything and everything to run over it. It is just not understood by more than a handful of people, the benefits of MetroDWDM,reading comments from TWX,they don't understand it either. And I am pretty sure the small MSO's don't have a clue. So it is TCOMA,COX,and 21st Century that understand it. There are not enough good engineers in cable companies, and very few that understand advanced optoeletronics. And there are no analysts nor institutional investors who would care enough,or have the capacity to spend the time to understand it. Tim |
