Emile,
We must, no matter how much you meditate and feel about the scriptures we talk about, scripturally and logically come to a conclusion about who is Israel is in Hebrews 8:8-12. You have responded to me, with your views but no scripture denying what I am saying.
So this is what I must ask again, who is Israel? It can't just be the people of the Faith of Abraham! It does not make sense in context to the scripture in Hebrews or Jeremiah. You have proven it yourself with surrounding scripture you posted. At best, your position that included the people of The Faith of Abraham and the House of Judah/Israel, both groups receiving the promises, might hold some water. But we need to explore Jeremiah 31 to see if the scripture makes sense with both groups. You can't just pick the people with the Faith of Abraham as being the promised group, and ignore the rest of the scriptural proof to the contrary.
And again I ask, how do you justify your position that salvation was not always same in the Old and New Testament? My contention is it was always the same, can prove it with scriptural and living proof, and need you to answer the question so we can move ahead with our study. If the ways of salvation were always the same, these verses could not be speaking to just the people with the Faith of Abraham.
God Bless, Steve
Ps- Any Jew who or are standing on these promises, primarily to be saved, will burn in hell! Sorry if it is harsh, but thats the truth! You just must accept the Messiah, in the both Old and New Testaments in order to be saved. It is the grace of God that always saves you! Through no other way is it possible! |
