Hehehe...I recall the memo that nailed them on the Orange county case, where mer executive says "we'll eat the loss ($1.5Mil?) this time but better get back down the road..." or words to that effect...I was thinking - don't these guys realize they are playing with retirement funds? school board funds? water district funds? Who cares? Oh well...jail time for the treasurer and his accountant, but a slap on the wrist for mer and cohorts...what justice...what a country!
