I wasn't belittling his acheivement in any way, shape or form
(BTW he also helped the Mets). This ia a Laughter thread
and I found his responce hilarious but then again I watch
the old Gong Show reruns every night. If nobody else saw the
humour in it so be it. As far as most pro athletes being
assholes I'd have to agree. Most Major league baseball
players today don't even know who Curt Flood was and don't
appreciate having what we can only dream of having.
