From Bloomberg story on Credit Swisse slide:

"Today, Goldman,Sachs and Co. reduced their 1999
earnings per share forecast for European companies to 9 percent
from 11 percent 'in response to higher risk of slower world
economic growth' said Mike Young, director of European
strategy in a note to investors."
