Aleta, I was led at a young age to understand that a cracker was a floury substance textured into something that cracked once you put your teeth into it.

Please understand I had no meaning in my heart, such as the definition you are posting, relative to my comment when I called you a "cracker." The context in which I used it was playful at best, insulting at worst. But the measure of the insult was aimed at your beliefs concerning Zulu, in that they go back and forth and crumble, crack, if you will, when put to the test of accuracy.

Perhaps were I from the South, I'd have had an understanding toward the definition you present. The only time I've used the term before, outside of something I'd buy in a supermarket, was to call someone playfully a cracker. In humor, I once called a former girlfriend a "cracker" once. But I assure you, she wasn't from the South and she understood the playfulness of my remark.

So, again, I when I called you a "cracker," I was referring to your back and forth, ever-changing opinions concerning Zulu. For example, the other evening, I thought it was a crackerly thing to do, when you steadfastly, when it was none of your business, attempted to defend Jon Tara's right not to answer my question.
