Keep in mind that 3DFX will sell to Compaq or Dell or Gateway or Creative or Diamond or whoever. The number of people involved in the buying decisions at these company are somewhat small. 3DFX does not need to impress every Joe with a PC and internet access. The people making decisions for OEMs are likely to be very bright and very clued in. They will choose the best price/performance package out there. I wouldn't worry about the PR where OEM products are concerned. 3DFX sales people will talk to those that they need to talk with.
