The confusion I have with this statement is the term "religion". Religion in the classic western sense I think we all have to associate with Republicans. They are the unwielding ones when it comes to religion. But you seem to be using religion as a verb to describe a sort of blind following, perhaps true but then that same definition would also reply to the republican embrace of western religions right? Yes this is why libertarianism looks appropriate to many I feel.
