American General Ventures Reports August Sales
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 1998-- American General
Ventures, Inc. (OTCBB:AMGV - news), through its wholly owned subsidiary ACI Micro
Systems, Inc. (ACI) reported net sales
for the four week period ended August 28, 1998 of $156,800, an increase of 839% from
the similar period in the prior year.
Sales for August 1998 increased nearly 30% from the $120,900 in July 1998. Revenues
generated through sales of the Company's
online store made up approximately 60% of August 1998 sales.
The Company's online store (www.availpc.com) is promoted through Hotmail, a free
e-mail service owned by Microsoft. With
memberships of over 16 million registered users, Hotmail is the world's largest free e-mail
service.
