Kal, MM stands for Market Maker. If you want to know all the gory details on how these guys/gals do their stuff, check this excellent article: forbes.com By the way, in answer to another question, market makers cannot manipulate big issues like Intel or Microsoft. At least, that's the way I read it. Len PS. Michael, I guess I did miss the earlier post on the tera-flop computer. I'm glad to see the confirmation. I was beginning to think I saw the article in a dream, or something. You know how hard it is to get a good night's sleep in a motel. Thanks.
