Mark,
You have read into my post more than I wanted you too. [My communication stinks sometimes.]
The minor transcription and translation errors are few and far etween. And none I know, have any personal slant involved in them, like taking the time in which it was done into account. And none, have anything to do with anything important, especially the salvation message.
The salvation messgage is clear across all versions and times. So don't use small, inconsequential errors to influence your whole study experience. That's just another excuse not to study it when you should be.
Mark, your statement, "IMO, the Bible reflects the more and ethics of the time(s) it was written in, including sacrifice, murder, enslavement, rape, etc, and the reason that and justifications for them that were relevant to those periods in time" is totally incorrect. This I could assure you.....
God Bless, Steve |
