Mr. Burke:
I am of the opinion that international trends will negatively impact the US and the sell off in Latin/Emerging Markets will continue, that even Europe will feel the pain. Also, while holding OEX puts recently, noting the machinations of Wall Street with a recent big short term boost from interpretation of Greenspan's remarks, I am looking for advice as to how to best play eventual declines.
OEX puts out to November are priced very high, likely for good reason.
Did I understand your recent post to reflect a dislike for puts on individual stocks?
Monseur Gonzo has recommended index puts on ADR.X, I believe as a play on a decline on all foreign stocks.
Any suggestions for how far out it would be prudent to go to buy index or individual stock puts?
Help much appreciated
