5 minutes before the close today, can't get in to Ameitrade, says something about "system is down". Okay, try Etrade account, get right in.
I ask all Ameritrade customers one thing, if it doesn't work right, doesn't work at all, is it really a cheaper commission? what does it really cost you?
I keep hoping they will get it right but I am beginning to think it's not going to happen.
Does anyone like Datek, they seem to have free real time quotes, low commissions, phone & web.
Ameritrade is really awful lately. Yesterday I'd call on the phone and it would ring 20 times before the telebroker would finally answer, sometimes, I'd just hang up. This means you can call back later when the price you wanted to buy at is long gone.
Ameritrade, nice commercials, bad execution.
