I have already expressed my views here previously concering our moral and ethical obligations to protect the most vulnerable segments of our society by proving systems will work rather than to assume it and just try to deal with whatever glitches may pop-up.

Glitches which someone in my geographical and physical circumstances would not even notice may prove life threatening to others in more vulnerable situations.

Those who repeatedly bray the mindless ballyhoo about there being no problem should volunteer to suffer whatever consequences y2k glitches may inflict upon the vulnerable.
