Jay: The Goldman Sachs IPO is yet one more sign of a market top. Going public is merely the means by which the private shareholders can cash in on their equity in the company.

Note that the Fed IS known to buy stock index futures when the market is falling apart to help stabilize things. Not nice when you're short stock index futures.
