The little one is inflicting his excess energy on his new mate. It's a form of poetic justice and balancing of the scales because she absolutely drove her older mate crazy the first few months we had her. Incidentally, she is much happier than she would have been if she remained alone.

Funny you should mention that animals can express emotions with their looks on their faces. My wife and I were just talking about the excitement they show when we let them out for their romp every night. Amazing but true...they do have emotions!

And the new one(Mikhail) absolutely loves getting his belly tickled.

OK, that's probably enough. Maybe I oughta get a human baby like August, so I won't sound so silly fawning over animal "children."
