<<2% growth will not fuel the need growth for DELL to maintain their revenue growth. John, I appreciate the effort but your data is spotty and a bit off target. In addition these analysts are not completely in sync with the mainstream. >> Gary, you are now arguing like Barry Scheck at the O.J. trial...Really....The 2% growth figure (for Japan) must be observed in RELATIVE TERMS to the previous quarter....If Dell can grow sales at a rapid rate in Japan when PC sales are down -14% (like last quarter)...it is logical to assume that they will do much better if PC sales are up 2% (this quarter).. Gary, what the heck are your sources? List them (like I have mine)...Do you have more accurate forecasting data than IDC/Dataquest/or Context or Tom Meredith...are you calling the Economist "spotty"...That's the first time I've heard that! Please do me the courtesy of working as hard on your posts as I do to you....your last three posts have been very weak and Lucretius-like....
