Vancouver, B.C., September 2, 1997
Net Nanny Software International Inc. (VSE - NNS; OTC Bulletin Board - NNSWF) is pleased to announce the addition of a new UK distributor, London-based NetP@rtner Ltd. NetP@rtner, an Internet Consultancy, also operates a world-wide domain name registration business. NetP@rtner intends to offer Net Nanny products to its web-clients who will in turn place electronic download links for the commercial version of Net Nanny. This approach further positions Net Nanny in high traffic areas.
NetP@rtner is also assembling a dedicated sales force to promote Net Nanny products to resellers and corporate accounts. NetP@rtner will also implement this sales model through its associated Copenhagen-based company which offers these services in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, where it boasts over 7000 website domain clients.
Betina Balle, UK manager of NetP@rtner Ltd said, "We are proud to be able to represent the leading edge technology products of Net Nanny International and we foresee large demand for NNPro, Net Nanny's new corporate network product, amongst our existing Internet client base." The company is also pleased to report that the market launch of NNPro has been very successful. The company has been inundated with requests for information and evaluation copies of NNPro, and initial orders have been received.
Management also wishes to clarify the recent announcement concerning the approval of a contemplated prospectus offering of the company's securities to the public. Management has not made a final decision with regard to this proposed offering, and continues to discuss financing alternatives with numerous interested parties, such as other software corporations and institutional investment funds in both North America and Europe. |
