The spectacle of these waning days of the X-rated Presidency has taken a decidedly theatrical turn with a stunning but lopsided struggle over the Starr report. In the aftermath of this cleansing impeachment process that much talked about legacy will turn out to be a tragi-comical and antithetical farce reduced to this pair of comparative quotes:

"Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down That Wall!"

"Ms. Lewinsky, Take Off That Dress!"
