It isn't his face they would carve. ;-)

I, for one, don't mind a bit if they impeach Clinton. But if they do I have one request--every Republican or Democrat who votes in favor of impeachment should look their public in the eye and say: "Yes, I know that the impeachment of Mr. Clinton will likely tank the stock market. Yes, I realize that that may slow the economy more than already feared. Yes, I know that the rest of the world is looking to us for economic leadership in these troubled times. And finally, yes, I know that many families will have lives of work ruined should the worst occur. But, I THINK IT IS WORTH IT!"

If they can look me in the eye and say that, then I am 100% behind them. If they can't, I suggest they put this behind them, no matter how wrong Clinton was, and elect a new President and/or party in the next election.
