Hi wallacestevens (from Nancy), The plan of the Creator to bring salvation to His creation included some of these acts. However, us being only able to comprehend on this worldly level have no understanding of the ways of this magnificent Spirit. His ways are way above our ways and I am sure our questioning His ways are ridiculous at best. Do you know what He did with the Caananites after they died? Surely you must know since you are questioning Him. They were a part of His plan and through His total justice He would make it right for them. In Isaiah God says why do they ask why I let the young die do they not realise I am sparing them from the evil of this world? There is more than this with Him IMO this is the bottom of the barrell of what He has to offer. He is life and joy and happiness and peace, and there is a plan and anyone that stands in the way of that plan will not succeed but will still find goodness for that is His nature. He holds life and death in His hands for He is worthy in His level of justice and love. Have a wonderfull and peacefull day, Nancy
