That was a very helpful, generous response. I do have the cd and will budget some time to look at it closely -- today. 1. What sort of data line do you maintain at home to allow Ctrader to work as well as you report? I have a 400 dell, a 58 modem, and two ISPs. Would you estimate that I have to go the TI (hassle) or cable modem (not yet available here) route so as not to cripple the complexity of the Ctrader feed? 2.Last year at Block, I found the nickle and dime Ctrader billing annoying. Are they, as MBT asserts, marking up INCA and ISLD extra fees, etc.? Have you ever figured how much one of your average trades actually costs, after allowing for the time limit on partial fills rule, and other similar distractions. 3. MBT allows you to open an account for a tiny $5k -- nice IMHO during a period when you are trying to learn a new software *and* trying to trade as usual (like a mad man) at your present broker (where all the money is). Anything like this at Ctrader? I guess I should ask them this, but I was hoping the question would elicit -- as before -- something interesting and unexpected from you in this area.
In any case, thanks again. This is really helping me (and perhaps others) decide. |
