This is, of course, the limitation. I just went through
a search of ISPs in the Durham area, and many of
them let you log on twice, but for a dollar an hour while
logged on twice, or something similar. Pretty expensive
pretty quick.

My ISP (a smallish regional) has a 10.95 price for two
year (cancelable) contracts. No simultaneous logons, but
21.90 for two of them. Not that I'm tempted. If I get
another access it will be with a different ISP for redundancy.
But this is a way to make good use of the redundancy
you're paying for anyhow, with fewer restrictions than
multilink PPP. Of course, I don't know how well this
particular thing works; just another option to evaluate.

PS. I originally fatfingered "multiplink PPP" typing this
post. I like it. We should start a fatfinger phrase contest.
Here's entry 1 <G>.
