Nice move yesterday. And healthy volume too. What went right? Who knows. The company acts like it was absolutely NORMAL because of "all the positive developments which have taken place and which are now FINALLY being recognized by the investment community". But the last news release was issued two months ago and the offers this morning loom larger than ever.

Far from kicking off more buying, yesterday's move back to within spitting range of 2.00 has encouraged sceptics to pile on the offers. This morning the bid/ask picture remains hopelessly lopsided but historically true to form.

As many of you know, Luxor is going back on the road this weekend to meet with investors. Some of you are of the hopeful opinion that Luxor is trying to do some window-dressing for those meetings. If true, then yesterday's move will have to be sustained and the price supported through tomorrow, at the very least.

I see another variation. The large spread between the bid and the ask is being used to illustrate APPARENT weakness in the stock. Move it up a bunch one day, see what comes in for sale above while maintaining an UNREAL spread, take the stock back down a bunch on anemic volume and one might just be able to shake some of those blocks loose as more disillusioned shareholders decide they've finally had enough. I don't know who wrote the book on accumulation but if the stock backs down today in like fashion, then here's a pretty good illustration for it. Should the stock HOLD, then I think we should all look forward to this weekend's meetings.

Stay tuned for our next dispatch from the front.
