From Yahoo #8006--California's Proposition 7

For those concerned of the cost of a Turbopac... California's Proposition 7, which is on the November ballot, addresses this issue (at least for California). The measure will provide $218 million annually over the next 12 years towards diesel emission control programs, including retrofits. Additionally, the State legislature just passed a bill that will provide further financial incentives for reducing diesel emissions.

Turbo's technology works, that fact is irrefutable. Given government subsidies and more stringent regulations, the devices will undoubdtedly become more and more attractive to diesel operators.

The shorts can continue to slam Turbodyne for past mistakes, but ultimately they will be hurt. The future is clear (the regulators will see to that).
