To all- So much news and rumors. What do I think will happen?
1. Deal will go through at .8
2. Mike is honest and is trying to look out for long term interests of stockholders.
3.We do miss Peter's leadership in going over financial numbers, and wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.
4. Ciena's need for a big brother to help it handle these kinds of sales and new marketing opportunities has been demonstrated over the last few weeks.
5. I figure we are heading for plus or minus $70 for 1999.
6. I figure that the Pres. will be impeached, which in the long run will be good for the country.
7.The global economy will scare itself into a recession, which will have a medium affect on the US economy.
8.Even with the slowdown in the global economy, I don't know of a better place to put your money, than in Tellab's, especially at it's current price of $45.

9.If you are a long term investor in Tellab's, and have current paper losses,if you can afford to wait 3-5 years, you will be fine, if not, you need to take or should have taken some appropriate action.
10.The world is still in the initial building stages of the information age, and that means telecom. eqt, fiber-optic systems.cable, data transmission, etc.
