Agreed, the medical industry is just starting to get the idea of what IT can really do for them. Electronic medical charts are just starting to show up in some clinics. Imagine having your charts stored in a central clearing house. Then your GP, shrink, radiologist, etc can access the same information. Currently, they have to mail or fax the info back and forth. Ever notice all those seemingly endless rows of files behind the front desk? A CORBA solution is definitely needed to bridge between the different medical systems (mostly billing and insurance) for inter-office compatibility of the data. With the new electronic charts and dictation coming on-line, who knows how many vendor systems and platforms you'll need to bridge between. I'm glad to see Inprise pursuing this opportunity. Dennis
