RE: "Is it time to buy Asia yet?" JMHO but one can afford to wait in Asia and elsewhere. I plan on letting the dust settle from all the manipulation/intervention in Japan and Hong Kong. Japan rate cut very cosmetic and does not address bank transparency problem except obliquely, suggesting further delays in real solutions. My gut tells me that there is plenty of bad news yet to hit world markets. US PEs in particular haven't discounted further slowdown. BIDKJS.
