I'm not sure I even know enough to ask intelligent questions on the Japanese banks, but-

Can these companies you've referred to get a loan from the Japanese banks? Can any company get a loan including the Japanese companies?

It seems that the low deposit interest rates, the non-performing loans, the problems they're having would inhibit any new loans. Where do they get the money to loan out?

Seems the same might be true for South Korea.
