PK- I wouldn't try to hazard a guess at the true cost of the Starr Report - both tangible and intangible - I wonder if in years to come it won't be seen as a sign of a nation in the process of self - destructing.
Those of a particular political persuasion will see Starr on the side of the angels (to quote H.Hyde)- but others will see him as the symbol of 'get the other side at all costs' If Clinton defends himself and digs in the cost will be high - if he doesn't the cost will be high too - it's a right old mess which started at the time of Nixon.
