bede, I use a 128k ISDN line for connecting through the internet to CyberCorp and have minimal difficulty, nothing lately, as I told you. Additionally, Cyber has it's own private network available to you for a modest $2 per hour, which I plan to use as back-up. Haven't had to use it yet, but $2 per hour for a few good hours of trading is nothing to me. Great investment. Sure beats the costs of frame relay, which is also available. I think some folks even trade with 56k modems.

For questions concerning billing practices and account minimums, I suggest you contact the company directly rather than relying on anything from me. I might tell you something that is incorrect.

Some of your comments appear to be telling me that you like things you've heard about M.B. Trading. I obviously like CyberCorp, but I suggest that you go with whichever company suits you best. Both companies are probably better than most other online brokers available. I firmly believe the folks at MBT to be good, honorable, and conscientious people. You won't go wrong either way. Also, there is no reason for you to compare CyberCorp with Block Trading. They are not related, so get that out of your head.

Let me conclude, however, by saying emphatically that trying a new broker and software with only a $5,000 account is, imho, a waste of everyone's time. What can you buy that is really worth buying with only $5k? No way to daytrade.

Why don't you explain your comment to me "I guess I should ask them this, but I was hoping the question would elicit -- as before -- something interesting and unexpected from you in this area"? What do you mean by "interesting and unexpected"? Are you looking for information, or looking to be entertained here?
