Anyhow, welcome to the Dell brother and sisterhood. I think that as you glean greater insights into Dell's operations you will discover just how powerful a company this is, and why industry analysts believe that it will continue to expand its lead over its rivals.

I have argued for some time that Dell is not a technology company at all. It is really the paradigm for leading edge manufacturing companies. So the $64 question is where to from computers. Certainly the business model ought to be transferrable to other products. What products will work with this kind of model?
