Frank -

I assume you probably know that this company used to be known as "Diana Corp" - this is an infamous "blowup" story. I believe it was originally a seafood business, "diversified" into networking and the price ran up to over $100. It was a NYSE stock and it now trades on the over-the-counter bulletin board. I would consider its past a significant red flag.

Most companies of this kind start as a private company usually with some venture backing and then go public. Are there any examples of success stories for companies under similar circumstances?

Finally, I'm confused by the company's stated intention to compete as a CLEC - wouldn't that be like Tellabs deciding to provide long distance?

Thanks in advance.
