A New Closing High For CWEI @ 17 3/8, up 1, Bid 17 3/8 X Ask 17 5/8 CWEI closed up 1 on fairly light volume of 49K. After opening at 17 1/8 this morning on a gap of 3/4, CWEI spent most of the day around 16 3/4 before moving up quickly during the last half-hour of trading. Oils were up big again today as the price of Crude continues to rocket up due to the cold weather and today's contract expirations. Analysts noted weather forecasts for a cold snap expected to hit the U.S. Northeast this weekend. At 1600 EST Oil is at $26.57, up 0.41 (CWEI rcvd $21.19 in Q3) At 1600 EST Gas is at $4.40, up 0.33 (CWEI rcvd $2.62 in Q3) Welcome aboard Steve--good timing on your buy of CWEI--should warm things up for you in spite of the cold weather in Texas. Saw 28 degrees on the weather map. Hope that doesn't affect productivity at CWEI's wells.
