What a chicken. It's a lot easier to make inflammatory comments like these if you don't stick around for the rest of the conversation. Well, at least now we can talk about him behind his back. About, for instance, how he could possibly claim that this smart card reader is "Basically...a peripheral that functions the same way as WAVX chip does." If that's true, VSRN and Gemplus have some big patent problems on their hands. How is a smart card reader like a meter? How can a smart card reader possibly perform any sort of metering function? And what about encryption? Well, we'll never know, since Doc has moved on. Oh, well.

The bottom line is that there is nothing out there that functions the same way the WAVX chip does. And someone who wants to convince me otherwise is going to have to make a lot better case than this.
